A Wrinkle in Time: Expelling the Curses of the Year
Saturday March 29, 2025 10:00am - 11:30am EDT
In order to exorcise and protect against the Wayeb— the non-Euclidean time period of the Mayan Calendar (March 25 – March 29, 2025), Solomon Pakal will lead a ritual of expulsion and replacement of temporal dimensional energies. The Mayan solar year will reach its conclusion with the arrival of these five demonic curses. With their departure, a New Year Bearer will be rung in and be petitioned for a healthy rest of the Gregorian calendar year of  2025. Using adapted practices found in modern day Guatemalan highlands and pre-Columbian primary resources, this ritual aims to keep our community safe during this shattered instant and usher in a brighter time for the road ahead. “A Wrinkle in Time” will expand practitioners’ understanding of temporal dimensionality in the craft.

The Temple of Heka: Living Your Magick
Saturday March 29, 2025 10:00am - 11:30am EDT
In more modern use, the term “Heka” has come to be used as another word for “magick”, particularly if your work includes Kemetic overlays. However, to the Ancient Egyptians, Heka had multiple layers of meaning and understanding for those who actively engaged its essence. The principle of Heka flowed through every aspect of mundane/magickal experience and the deep connections of As Above, So Below informed the cosmology of their practice. Using this same intention, Spirit truly informs matter and the place within where the mundane and magickal are opened. That opening becomes the liminal space for communication and guidance from the Higher Self. This ritual uses the underpinnings of Heka as participants walk the path of the elements, claim their name of power, call forth the pranic life force, and awaken the subtle bodies that illuminate Heka within. What to bring: An amulet to empower; ritual robes (if available) and water to hydrate. Please eat lightly before the ritual.

Eastern Astrology Crash Course
Saturday March 29, 2025 10:00am - 11:30am EDT
You’ve probably heard of the twelve animals of the Eastern zodiac. We will cover what the animals are, how they relate to each other, and how the five elements influence a person’s life and relationships in romance, business, and friendships. We will also cover karmic numerology, and how the nine karmic relations influence astrological readings, as well as how each person’s trigrams rotate throughout the year and how it can be used to improve day-to-day life. This course will combine the two main astrological systems in Asia: the Chinese system and its influence sphere (Korea, Manchuria, Vietnam, Japan, parts of southeast Asia), and the Tibetan system and its influence sphere (Mongolia, Central Asia, Turkic & Tungusic Siberia).

Freyr: A God for Our Times
Saturday March 29, 2025 10:00am - 11:30am EDT
The Norse God Yngvi-Freyr has a long history. Different facets of his nature have come to the fore in different eras. Two of his aspects are especially relevant today: his emerging role as a champion of wild places and wild creatures, and his historical importance as lord of friðr, which means something like “peace that is actively cultivated and maintained.” We will discuss both of these aspects in relation to both ancient sources and modern experience. I will also share some prayers and practices for honoring and working with Freyr.

Generational Trauma and Spiritual Hunger
Saturday March 29, 2025 10:00am - 11:30am EDT
So much of the hunger that is taken advantage of in capitalism and consumerism is built on spiritual hunger — out of the actual hunger of the Great Depression and the World Wars of the 20th century. Sacred Crossroads – Druidry and Witchcraft
Saturday March 29, 2025 10:00am - 11:30am EDT
It may appear on face value that Druidry and Witchcraft are two separate paths, and yet their evolution and development are inexorably and intimately connected. In this class Hughes takes you on a journey to discover where both these systems intersect, and how that intersectionality can transform the practitioner. What are the similarities between the two practises and how can elements from each one be incorporated into praxis? Who are the deities of magical practise and what inspiration can they bring to the table of Druidry and Witchcraft. Can a Druid be a Witch? Can a Witch be a Druid?

The Witches’ Forge: The Warriors Will and the Iron Pentacle
Saturday March 29, 2025 10:00am - 11:30am EDT
Faery witches seek to refine their skills, increase their knowledge, and deepen their power. Toward this the Iron Pentacle is vital. Like a blacksmith working a forge, we use this tool to reshape, sharpen, and temper our will. As a psychic tool the Pentacle offers us a means to identify areas where we consume life force or may be leaking it away. As a ritual practice it offers a means to heal and strengthen those areas affected by imbalance or injury, thus strengthening our will and our magic.

Moving with the Serpent from the Earth to the Stars: A Magical Working to Claim Our Place in the Cosmos
Saturday March 29, 2025 1:30pm - 3:15pm EDT
When we know and claim our rightful place in the world, we comprehend both the gifts we offer and our duty to the world. We are all magical beings. Iron from the stars flows in our blood. We live on planet Earth, and gaze into the sky, guided by the stars. We traverse the astral planes and climb the trees of magic between the realms. By orienting ourselves here on earth, we make the first move to claim our place. Let our bodies move with Serpent energy in order to shed our skins, transform our spirits, and awaken our sovereignty. Let us move out further—together—and find our place in the cosmos, singing our own song to blend with the songs of our siblings as they take their place as well. Claim your place. Offer your gifts. This is an active magical working. The doors will be barred ten minutes into this session.

Exploring the Myths of Avalon: Reclaiming the Legacy of the Holy Isle
Saturday March 29, 2025 1:30pm - 3:15pm EDT
From beyond the mists of time and through the pages of literature, Avalon calls to us. A half-remembered legacy arising from a confluence of history, mythology, and legend, this Otherworldly Island of Apples has nevertheless intrigued and inspired us for almost a thousand years. But what do we really know about Avalon? To answer this question, we will trace the Avalonian Stream of Tradition back to its source, following it as it winds through the landscapes of Arthurian legend, Welsh mythology, Gaulish historical accounts, and lore from Celtic, Germanic, and Greek lands. Then, guided by the mythic map that this work has revealed to us, we will undertake a journey over water to reach the shores of the Holy Island itself.

Folklore and Animism in a Disenchanted World
Saturday March 29, 2025 1:30pm - 3:15pm EDT
The nineteenth and twentieth centuries saw an apparent triumph of materialism and a disenchantment of the average person’s perceptions of the world. With that, folk knowledge and the spirits which were once recognized by the average person fade to obscurity or become the quaint stories and superstitions of the past. At least, this is what we’ve been told. Much of the world still believes in and experiences the uncanny. People relay urban legends and create new folklore because they need to process those things which exist beneath the surface. In this class we will explore how the paranormal, the weird, the pop-cultural, and the creepy lore of the internet may tie into the living and animistic reality of the world.

Sarff Goch Ritual: The Power of the Red Serpent
Saturday March 29, 2025 3:30pm - 5:00pm EDT
Within Welsh folk tradition the term “Sarff/Sarffes Goch” is used to refer to the folkloric Devil. However, literally translated “Sarffes Goch” is the Red Serpent. Serpents are regarded as beings of cunning intelligence, magic, and mystery. Deeply linked with Witchcraft and forms of folk magic, the Sarff Goch acts as a representation of the serpentine currents of the Earth in contemporary forms of Witchcraft and magic. In this ritual we will draw the power of the serpent to us, and metaphorically shed our skin so as to step into an embodied sense of empowerment and security.

Animism in a Heathen Context: The Zusaagpflicht
Saturday March 29, 2025 3:30pm - 5:00pm EDT
Something often glossed over about modern Heathenry is a core belief in animism. Our forebears lived much closer to the land than we generally do. The belief that plants, animals, minerals, and humans all contain Spirit (animism) seems to have always been present in their world. In this class we explore how the Zusaagpflicht can help us get back to balance between the non-human and human peoples that inhabit this realm. This Urglaawisch “Sacred Promise” is easier to fulfill (regardless of spiritual belief) if we expand the 3 R’s beyond “Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle” by adding “Re-Think, and Reject”. Then we can begin to truly re-work our position and become better neighbours to our plant, animal, mineral, and aethereal neighbours.

Music and Movement in Ritual
Saturday March 29, 2025 3:30pm - 5:00pm EDT
Oftentimes in rituals, music is only present in the background to help mask other noises, and physical movement is minimized. However, music and movement can be brought forward to play a more integral role in our rituals, taking center stage rather than being afterthoughts. Music can add dynamic layers; and movement – in the form of ritualized gestures or dance – can help you focus or express your intent in a way that words cannot. In this workshop we will discuss how to center music and movement into your rituals, including: their historical use, the considerations that go into selecting music, and the different ways we can move our bodies (seated or standing) to reflect and enhance our workings.

Reviving the God of Death – Cultivating Magical Power with Saturn
Saturday March 29, 2025 7:00pm - 8:30pm EDT
For the first 4,000 years of astrological and magical practice, adepts worked with Saturn as an initiator into occult mysteries. As the lord of death and the world beyond the veil, he was the go-to planetary deity for cultivating psychic skill and forming relationships with spirits. In this workshop, Merlin will help you discover Saturn as the lord of witches and magicians. Using historical analysis, Ancient Greek translation, hermetic philosophy, and practical examples, he’ll demonstrate the value of working with Saturn as the astral lord of magic. At the end, you will have the opportunity to commune with Saturn directly by making your own Saturn talismans, and to begin cultivating a relationship with the great mage of the seven stars.

Skillful Aspecting: Safety, Consent, and Integrity When Embodying Deity
Saturday March 29, 2025 7:00pm - 8:30pm EDT
Aspecting is the art of inviting a deity to use you as a vessel for direct interaction with participants. Running this kind of spiritual voltage through your body and mind can be risky without proper preparation. We’ll present our organized system for six weeks of thorough preparation for safe and productive aspecting: preparing your energetic body, researching the deity’s lore, trance journey negotiations and contracts, inviting deity to co-create the structure of the ritual, garb and props, feeding and watering your godly guest, tenders for the aspector, coming down from the deity-high after aspecting, and how to respond productively to questions and feedback people have for you after the ritual.
